It's a Maine event for Nike Reuse-A-Shoe!
On August 5, 6 and 7, we'll be in Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit-Samuelson's hometown, Cape Elizabeth, Maine, collecting kicks at the 13th Annual TD Bank Beach to Beacon 10k Road Race.
Thanks to the support and vision of "Joanie" – the famed marathoner who took home the gold in the 1984 Olympics – this year's Beach to Beacon is committed to going green.
In addition to teaming up with Nike Reuse-A-Shoe, the Beach to Beacon will feature sustainable elements throughout the event – including bib and chip recycling, composting, ride sharing and more.
